Statewide Partnership for Concurrent Enrollment
The program was designed to support concurrent enrollment teachers receive 18 graduate level credits in their area of instruction.
What is the Statewide Partnership?
Approximately 76% of the state’s high school concurrent enrollment teachers do not currently meet the Higher Learning Commission's standard for instructors. In order to meet the needs of concurrent enrollment teachers, the state legislature has expanded and appropriated funding opportunities for teachers throughout all regions of the state. Metro ECSU, serving as the fiscal host for these monies, represents the following service cooperative regions of the state: Southeast, Southcentral, Southwest West Central, Resource Training & Solutions, NJPA and Northeast.
Approved teachers in participating districts are eligible for tuition scholarships in participating higher education institutes. Tuition will be paid in full once higher education institutes report successful completion of coursework. Teachers that drop courses after the deadline or who do not successfully complete courses will be responsible for tuition costs. In some cases, application or other fees may be charged by the higher education institute. Teachers will be responsible for paying these costs.
