MELN Individual Membership

MELN is designed to assist all education leaders with continual development and renewal of skills and/or attitudes necessary to maximize the effectiveness of their leadership.

About Individual Membership WITHOUT District Membership

This plan is open to individuals from charter and nonpublic schools, as well as retired education leaders.
All MELN training will be virtual 2020-21.

2020-21 Leadership In-Service Series is being finalized. Please check back for 2020-21 workshops.
2019-20 Leadership In-Service events are provided as an example of our offerings.

Fee Structure

  • Leadership In-Service Series – $250, Individual Membership
    • Nonmember fee for all four sessions is $300
    • Available to all educators interested in leadership issues
    • Registration for all four presentations offered in the Leadership In-Service Series
  • Leadership In-Service Series – $225, Retired Administrator Membership
    • Nonmember fee for all four sessions is $300
    • Available to all retired administrators interested in leadership issues
    • Registration for all four presentations offered in the Leadership In-Service Series

For Instructional Leaders, Instructional Coaches, Curriculum Coordinators, Principals, Assistant Principals, Q Comp Coordinators, Lead Teachers, Peer Reviewers, District Leaders and all other education leaders.

Cooperative Purchasing Services

A wide variety of products are available with our program, the Cooperative Purchasing Connection. Vendor contracts are established through a formal bid process conducted by Minnesota Service Cooperatives (MSC).

Metro ECSU Membership

Active membership in Metro ECSU is open to each public school district which has chosen to join the cooperative by paying the appropriate membership fees. With membership districts can participate and vote in the governance of the co-op.
